*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. How You'll Perform the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to be a key member of the financial accounting organization, whose main purpose is to ensure the primary financial statements - income statement, balance sheet and cash flow - are accurately reflecting the results of the company and are published in a timely manner.

  • Broad-based financial role with a wide range of responsibilities including support of the site facilities, monthly accounting and reporting, financial analysis, technical accounting issues, and internal controls. In addition, must interact regularly with plant manager and other site personnel on key accounting issues.
  • Assist Accounting Supervisor with month end close for the site, which includes but is not limited to required journal entries, variance analysis and trend research, along with any other topics that may arise.
  • Ensure site maintains compliance with appropriate internal controls
  • Maintain local ERP ledgers and reconcile to Hyperion financial statements
  • Analyze and review high quality and timely balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Participate as necessary in periodic cycle count and physical inventory processes. Assist with root cause investigations and future optimization initiatives.
  • Interface with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to assist in providing analysis to management on monthly financial results, including the integration of both financial and operational metrics to ensure the accuracy of plant financial reporting.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external audit teams to ensure effective and accurate reporting for prompt decision-making.
  • Liaise with IT function to assure proper IT controls for processes managed by the position.
  • Assist in integration activities related to key areas of responsibility.

What We Need From You

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in accounting required, CPA desired
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of accounting experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing cost accounting environment
  • Strong experience and highly proficient in information technology and financial applications in an integrated ERP system; Oracle Hyperion application; requires exceptional Excel knowledge
