*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform the Role

The Sr. Capital Sourcing Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Capital (Machinery) Sourcing Process. This process involvement includes project review, sourcing, freight requirements, and arrival tracking of the equipment.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the capital process, beginning to end.
  • Manage the Capital Buyer and their reporting responsibilities.
  • Participate in the development of all growth projects with Ops and Engineering.
  • Review & Negotiate all Capital Expenditures over $100k.
  • Review & work with legal on all contracts and all project performance replated documents.
  • Represent Novolex's interests when issues arise with suppliers. Examples: Warranties, Delays, Under-performing assets.
  • Provide weekly & monthly report outs to Senior Leadership around Capital Project Performance.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business or industry.
  • Travel Requirement: Less than 25%.
  • Strong understanding of contract language and authoring of contracts.
  • High level of negotiation strategy required.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, project management and relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • Buying experience and financial knowledge required.
  • High motivation and results-oriented work ethic.
  • Manufacturing Machinery Experience (preferred) but other manufacturing industries will be considered.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and databases, including MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MRP, and AS 400 Environment.
  • CPSM/ CPM certification strongly recommended.
